17th Anniversary of the events of September 11,2001

17th Anniversary of the events of September 11,2001

Dear World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) Members,

Today marks the 17th Anniversary of the events of September 11, 2001.

It was a terrible moment for all, and was especially so for those who lost loved ones in that tragedy.

They are forever in our hearts and minds, as are those of our Members who were present to witness the events as they unfolded.

But as we have seen time and again in dark moments throughout history, the unity in the hours, days, and years that followed is a demonstration of how together we are stronger.

And that is particularly true of our Association, for which the twin towers held particular importance, and served as a source of our deep pride.

It is truly remarkable when we reflect on how far we have come since those events stunned the world, and all of the opportunities that lie before us.

We are closing in on a half century of the WTCA, and just like on the morning of September 12, there are so many reasons why we—and you—should remain proud to be a part of our Association.

On behalf of ourselves, the entire Board of Directors, and all of us at Headquarters in New York, thank you.

Best,
John E. Drew                                                                                                                      Scott Ferguson
