General discussion Report of the High Commissioner-Item 2
The OHCHR has contributed in United Nations efforts to ensure respect for international human rights law and humanitarian law, and has raised human rights issues in regards to the discussion of the situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran, where the development of such rights is at a satisfactory state.
We wish to optimize contact with both rights holders and victims of human rights violations, and enter into partnership with relevant stakeholders which is neutral, just and honest.
We support partnerships that seek to safeguard and preserve human rights without bias, in contrast to what is happening with the Syria situation, where human rights advocates are being hidden behind countries that support terrorism and war on Syria and her people. In this situation additionally, it is necessary to expose funding and operating countries of these terrorist groups, which have spent more than $ 137 billion to destroy Syria.
We support the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights continues to play its role as a universal voice defending the equality and non-discrimination for all vicinity citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran from the population Arab Gulf States, who are crushing their citizens.
